Our findings revealed that MTX significantly impacted heart function, leading to abnormal heart rhythms and increased inflammation in cardiac tissues. Specifically, we saw changes in heart electrical signals, such as shortened intervals between heartbeats and an extended duration for the heart's repolarization process, indicating potential cardiac distress.

However, when we treated the rats with Tau and EMIQ, either alone or together, we observed an impressive protective effect against these adverse changes. Both treatments helped improve heart conductivity and rhythm, while also reducing inflammation and cell damage within the heart.
